How long will the website be unavailable for during the upgrade?
We anticipate the website to be unavailable from 11am US Eastern Daylight Time on Monday July 29th and to be back online by Thursday August 1st.
Will learners lose their coursework record if they are in the middle of a course and have yet to receive a completion report?
No. All learner records ,including partial course completions, will be transferred to the updated platform.
Will the steps for new account registration change?
Yes. There will be a slight change in learner registration process but learners should be able to navigate and complete the registration process more efficiently than before. New instructions are provided on the Knowledge Base at http://citiprogram.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1231781-new-learner-account-registration-2-0
, which organizations may use to update their site's documentation.
What are learners likely to notice when accessing the updated platform?
Both administrators and learners will be prompted to update their passwords on their first login. This will allow them to set longer, case-sensitive passwords for to meet improved security standards. All accounts will also be asked to confirm their primary email address, if they have not done so in the last six months.
Otherwise, individuals will mainly notice that the CITI Program platform has been updated to make their experience easier and more visually appealing.
What are administrators likely to notice?
Will the course expiration notices be sent out during the down time?
No. All email reminders regarding course expirations will be sent out after the upgrade is complete.
How will I know when the website is available again?
We will send an email communication to all CITI Program administrators when the upgrade is complete.
